Cambridge Half Marathon – Arthur Rank Hospice We have just a few days to go before our team of 6 (of varying abilities) set off for the Cambridge Half Marathon, raising money for the wonderful Arthur Rank Hospice.

For those not in the know, Arthur Rank Hospice is a local charity providing support for people in Cambridgeshire with advanced serious illness or other life limiting conditions and those who need end of life care.

If you can spare a pound, or five, or more please follow the link below.

Arthur Rank are one of many charities, companies, worthy causes, projects or individuals we have supported over the years.
This year for the third year running, we will be helping them with the Christmas Tree Recycling Campaign where we and many others will be collecting trees in donated vans to raise more for this great charity.

Another local charity close to our hearts is ACT (Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust). We have had great fun competing twice in their annual fundraiser, the Cambridge Dragon Boat Race. Sadly due to the legacy or Covid the event has been postponed this year but as reigning champions we very much look forward to defending our title next year, whilst raising money for this vital city charity.

Cooke Curtis & Co are determined to help worthy causes of all shapes and sizes. In 2019 our Fund helped a large number of people around Cambridge. In 2022 we plan to launch a new Fund where we will donate to a number of worthy and interesting things.

If you would like to know more about the worthy causes we support please get in touch.

There’s one sense people often forget about, and it might just be the one that has the biggest subconscious sway over your buyers. Smell. Or to put it slightly more elegantly, aroma.

What. A. Day. The Duxford Soap Box Derby did it again — another brilliantly bonkers day of homemade engineering, high-speed bravery, and pure community spirit.

For the fifth year running, we’re proud to be supporting the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity Christmas Tree Recycling Scheme — a brilliantly simple idea that turns old Christmas trees into vital funds for an incredible local cause.

For years, the property world has sung from the same hymn sheet: “Wait for spring to sell.” The days get longer, the daffodils bloom, and everything looks a little more photogenic. But Cambridge doesn’t play by the same rules.
