This Sunday: The Duxford Soap Box Derby Returns!

The wheels are nearly on, the helmets are polished, and the questionable engineering is ready to be tested — the Duxford Soap Box Derby rolls back into town this Sunday, and it promises to be another brilliantly bonkers day out for all the family.

With over £93,000 raised for local charities so far, this year’s event should see the total smash through the £100,000 mark — but only with your help.

So whether you’re coming to cheer on the kids (ages 4 to 15), marvel at the grown-ups charging down the course (some with more speed than sense), or just soak up the atmosphere with an ice cream and a raffle ticket, your presence makes a difference.

If you're not racing, you can still support by donatingbuying a programmecheering as loud as you possibly can, or just showing up and being part of something brilliantly local.

And as ever, Cooke Curtis & Co is proudly supporting this wild and wonderful day — part village fête, part Wacky Races, and all for a good cause.

Join us this Sunday. Bring your friends, your family, and your loudest cheer. Let’s hit £100k.
